ENO6.0: sparkling wine production at home
July 16, 2024Are you looking for more information on mobile wine bottling, or do you simply want confirmation that this technique is best suited to your needs? Then you’ve come to the right place! In this article we will discover together what the advantages of mobile bottling are, its phases and how we at Enotech Wine Service can help you.
Mobile wine bottling:
its advantages
Mobile wine bottling has many advantages, primarily that of being able to be tailor-made to the needs of your cellar, as well as being economically advantageous.
In addition to this, our service will allow you to:
- Bottling in your cellar: say goodbye to transporting the wine to be bottled to third parties. Thanks to our mobile technology everything will happen before your eyes, and you will have full control of the quality of your wine.
- Giving up fixed systems: the absence of these will allow you to save not only on the purchase of a system, but also on the costs of space to house them, maintenance and updating.
- Have specialized personnel: the bottling operation is managed by highly trained personnel, so that each step is carried out following national regulations and your needs.
- Respect the regulations: every technique and machinery used is certified and complies with the strictest hygiene, quality and health protection standards, guaranteeing you a final product ready for sale.
Obviously we can’t do everything ourselves, and we will also need your help in the bottling operations. There are other aspects you will have to take into account, after all it would be unrealistic if we only offered you benefits, right?
Mobile wine bottling:
its disadvantages
- Search for staff for a day, because 7/8 people are needed to operate the mobile bottling plant.
- Electricity consumption by the winery, yes because we will need at least 20 kW of electrical power, however as a replacement the mobile bottling vehicle has its own power generation unit.
- Accurate programming, nothing should be left to chance. If any item is missing, see caps, labels, capsules, this will have an impact on the success of the work to be carried out.
Mobile wine bottling: the phases
Our mobile wine bottling process is now tested by years and years of work in the sector, and takes place in 7 well-defined and field-optimised phases. Do you want to know what they are? Here they are:
1. Preparation of the system
The first thing we will do will be to sterilize the entire system with steam, so as to create a clean and contamination-free environment. Prepare the machine for the size of the bottle we will use, the capsule and the label.
2. Rinsing the bottles
Once we have received the bottles we will move on to the rinsing phase, guaranteeing the hygiene and cleanliness necessary for the maturation of your wine.
3. Oxygen reduction and nitrogen injection
Injecting nitrogen during bottling operations reduces the presence of oxygen inside the bottle. Our system called DEOX ensures that the bottle is first deaerated, a vacuum is created in the bottle and subsequently filled with the inert gas produced by us, nitrogen, significantly reducing the phenomenon of oxidation especially in white wines to be bottled. Your wine will increase its longevity, maintain its organoleptic properties and can be stored for longer.
4. Filling with light pressure
You won’t smell the aromas of your wine around the bottling machine, but inside the bottle! Furthermore, our watchwords are productivity and flexibility, so that we can satisfy your every need: we can in fact fill many types of different bottles.
5. Capping and Capsulating
Do you prefer a cork stopper, a synthetic one, a screw cap? No problem, you will be free to choose the type of corking that you think best suits your wine production. We can use all materials, such as tin, polylaminate and heat shrinkable.
6. Labeling
Well yes, we will also label your bottles. Thanks to three self-adhesive stations we will apply, front, back and DOCG or DOC collar where required, quickly, precisely and professionally, creating a product ready for sale. And in the case of sparkling wines we have the possibility of centering the capsule for isobaric bottlingwith the writing and labels with our mobile vehicle .
7. Packaging
The last step is packaging: an automated system will tape the boxes. All you have to do at this point is deliver them to your customers.
