WHY THE BAG-IN-BOX
The use of Bag in Box, once reserved for inexpensive wines, is becoming increasingly popular in Italy and around the world for quality products as well , even if they are not intended for bottle aging or long aging. It is also increasingly used for oil, vinegar, sauces, soups, juices, blended spirits, and other numerous food preparations for professional use.
- It is able to ensure the expected shelf life even after opening, reducing oxidation of the contents as the inner plastic bag contracts as it is poured. This is an advantage that is particularly appreciated by both the domestic consumer market and the restaurant and catering market because it allows for a considerable reduction in waste.
- It has lower production costs than glass and requires less packaging materials. It is also lighter and takes up less space, which positively affects both storage and transportation costs.
- It is more environmentally sustainable than glass bottles, which require a lot of energy to produce, generates less packaging waste, and its parts can be easily separated, disposed of or recycled.

FILTRATION
This stage is the heart of the processing for Enotech’s Bag in Box. A double filtration system to ensure safe removal of yeast and bacteria critical to maintaining the quality and stability of the wine over time.

FILLING
Enotech uses the Soft Filling method. This system is done using nitrogen pressure, allowing accurate and controlled filling of the bags. The use of nitrogen creates an inert environment within the casings, preventing oxidation of the wine and preserving its quality and organoleptic characteristics.

AUTOMATIC CANNING
Quickly and accurately boxing the bags inside the carton ensures safe and stable packaging. Automating this process reduces human error and increases overall production efficiency, enabling wineries to handle even large volumes of packaging.
